Brett Favre and Steroids Is Over and Over

It's like the hit show "Lost." It just keeps repeating itself over and over again, but just a little bit differently each time.

It was this time last year when Favre retired and I had just started this blog. My first two posts were Favre, Come Back, Favre and Steroids, Steroids, Makin' Me Sick. Funny that I have taken some time off and the day I decide to come back...what are the two biggest headlines in sports?

Favre retiring...AGAIN

and

Steroids in baseball...AGAIN.

Except this time I have a different outlook. This time, I want Favre to stay retired. As much as I could say I want him to come back and have another great season, I would be pissed this time. Had he decided to come back without announcing his retirement, that would be a different story, but Brett...this time...walk the walk since you talked the talk. Take a lesson from Tony Dungee who retired this season after a very successful coaching career. Not many athletes in the history of sports have as much class and dignity as Coach Dungee...perhaps the Mississippi MudFlap should listen to this.

Kurt Warner is also taking a more strategic. He's not jumping the gun and making an announcement right away. He's taking time off to decide and when he does make a decision, I'll bet he sticks to his guns.

All this being said, I believe that you will do the right thing, Brett. I believe you are really done. Go enjoy plowing your fields and shucking your corn. It's a much bigger field, but I'm rootin' fer ya.

And then steroids....SHUT THE HELL UP MEDIA!!!! I am so sick and tired of hearing about steroids. 1) HGH isn't even a steroid by true definition, so please stop talking about them like they are the same thing. 2) When these players tested positive, it wasn't a banned substance!!! HOW CAN YOU ACCUSE SOMEONE OF DOING SOMETHING THAT IS WRONG WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN WRONG YET?

It's a whole bunch of waste of hot air that is taking away from sports. Let it go and let's move on.

And unrelatedly, someone PLEASE make the Rockets and offer for Tracy McGrady. It's tiring to have to constantly listen to Houston Rocket fans moan and groan about this guy. Get him out of town and lets move on there too!

The moral of today's article...MOVE ON! I am...I have ended my writing Hiatus and I am back, baby!!!
