Madden Prediction 2010 Week 3: Texans Beat Cowboys 31 to 27

Nothing is more accurate at predicting games than Madden 2011 on the PS3.  Okay that may not be proven true, but it's worth a shot.  For the Houston Texans/Dallas Cowboys 2010 Week 3 match-up, I decided to simulate the entire game to see what Madden thinks is in store for our boys on Sunday.

For accuracy, I updated to all current rosters. This was surprisingly current because not only were Ben Tate and Brian Cushing out, but it had Duane Brown out as well. Oh Madden, you never cease to amaze me.

Game Summary - Texans Beat Cowboys 31 - 27

After a very slow start and letting the Cowboys rack up some quick points the Texans come out on top. The pressure put on Tony Romo creates 4 turnovers that the Texans are able to capitalize on. As expected, the Cowboys running game is fairly ineffective, but they are able to air it out to be the Texans' third straight opponent who gains over 400 passing yards.  Despite the Cowboys airing it out, the Texans are able to make enough big plays like this one to Jacoby Jones, that put them into possession to win in the 4th Quarter.

• Cowboys get first possession, drive down to the Houston 17 and kick a Field Goal  (9:08 left 1 QTR)
• Schaub gets sacked on first offensive play for Houston.
• On their second possession, Romo passes to Dez Bryant for a 38 yard TD on 3rd and long (5:19 left 1QTR - 10-0)

2nd Quarter

• Demeco Ryans intercepts a Tony Romo pass near midfield (14:10 left 2nd QTR, 10-0)
• Foster fumbles on the Cowboys 30. Recovered by Ware (12:02 left 2nd QTR, 10-0)
• Romo passes to Roy Williams for 62 Yard TD ( 10:27 left 2nd QTR, 17-0)
